Scientific Games Corporation announced that it has signed a two-year extension to its instant products contract with the Missouri Lottery under which Scientific Games will supply the Lottery with instant games for Missouri players.

Since 1986, Scientific Games has served as the instant game provider to the Missouri Lottery, ranked 17th in the world for instant game per capita sales (La Fleur’s 2015 Almanac). The Company will continue to provide instant games and services to the Lottery through June 30, 2017.

May Scheve Reardon, Executive Director, Missouri Lottery, said, “We look forward to continuing our nearly 30-year relationship with Scientific Games. Their strategic recommendations have made them a trusted partner to the Missouri Lottery, helping us grow our instant product category and return important dollars to support public education in Missouri year after year. ” In fiscal year 2014, instant games represented 67 percent of the Missouri Lottery’s revenue.

In addition to the design, programming and production of instant games, Scientific Games provides the Lottery with a player loyalty program, which includes 2nd Chance drawing administration, website marketing and support, merchandise prizes and fulfillment, and a mobile app. The Company also provides a portfolio of licensed brands to the Lottery such as MONOPOLY™, “AMC’s The Walking Dead” and Harley-Davidson to enhance the entertainment experience for players in Missouri.

We are honored to continue our longtime partnership with the Missouri Lottery, sharing our global best practices for instant product portfolios to provide fun, entertaining instant and 2ndChance games to players in Missouri,” said John Schulz, Senior Vice President, Instant Products for Scientific Games. “Supported by insights from Scientific Games’ recent global player segmentation study, our strategic recommendations will become even more important to the Lottery as they work to drive returns to education in the state.”
