Slot machine revenue up in April

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported on its web site that the collective slot machine revenue produced at the 12 casinos during April 2015 increased 4.1% compared to the same month last year.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported on its web site that the collective slot machine revenue produced at the 12 casinos during April 2015 increased 4.1% compared to the same month last year.

According to the monthly report posted on the Gambling Control Board’s web site this April’s gross revenue from the play of slot machines statewide was $205,894,827 compared to $197,760,977 gross revenue in April 2014.

The Board also reported that the amount of tax revenue generated for the Commonwealth from slot machine play during April was $109,858,099.

The average number of operating slot machines throughout Pennsylvania was 26,265 in April 2015 compared to 26,527 at the casinos in April 2014.
