“The cabinet you find with Podium Monument is a standard Podium base enhanced with an oversized top box and completed with an internally-lit custom bezel for greater attraction and entertainment,” said Eduardo Aching, Konami’s vice president of international sales. “Operators like how it leverages the cabinet’s extra-tall screen and creates a unique experience that’s engaging in its very nature.”
White Winter is the company’s first international release in the Snow Stars series, with more to come. Snow Stars White Winter also boasts a 2-level standalone progressive for even greater win potential.
Snow Stars Feature
During primary play, any three or more Snow Stars symbols trigger the Snow Stars Feature. Players are given the chance to select one of three skier characters, each representing more free games, more wilds, or more multipliers. Once selecting a skier, the player is given an assortment of corresponding prize ranges that become targets as the skier jumps from the giant icy slope and lands on his/her award. The result is a random boost to the free game bonus, through varying amounts of spins, wild symbols, and multipliers. Top awards include up to 40 free games, 100 wild symbols, and 15x multipliers, respectively.
“Snow Stars White Winter achieves what so many players want from their overall gaming experience. It’s built upon a strong base game, which extends into the machine’s unique entertainment potential during the bonus feature, by way of an interactive play mechanic so players feel connected and in control,” said Aching.
Players also have the opportunity to win one of the game’s two-level progressive jackpots during the Snow Stars ski jump bonus. The Snow Stars feature cannot be re-triggered while in the feature, and potential feature prize amounts are increased with greater bets.
