An Alabama Senator is pushing ahead with a proposal to introduce legislation that could potentially see a lottery and casinos at state dog tracks, Alabama Live reported.
Senator Del Marsh has distributed a copy of his proposed legislation to other lawmakers for feedback, the report said.
Del Marsh intends to introduce the bill to a Senate committee next week, but Gov. Robert Bentley is already taking a dim view on the legislation, according to Alabama Live.
