The Oneida Indian Nation is set to open its new casino in central New York.

Ribbon-cutting for the $20 million Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango is slated for 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Oneidas say the casino and its "Wizard of Oz" theme will have more than 400 Vegas-style cash slot machines, a 500-seat Wizard Hall for bingo, a Keno lounge, Oz General Store, and several bars and restaurants.

The 67,000-square-foot gaming venue was inspired by the village's close connection with the American classic "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."  Author L. Frank Baum was born in Chittenango.

The Oneidas announced plans for the casino in December, four days after a state panel recommended licensing three non-Indian casinos. The facility is located on Oneida Indian Nation land.
