Pavilion Worldwide Group has announced the strengthening of its senior management team with industry veteran Mark Irvine becoming President, responsible for delivering the company’s bold growth strategy, while the company’s founder, Dr. Robert Miller, continues as Chairman and CEO.

Mr. Irvine, who has served as Managing Director of Pavilion’s European operations since 2013, expressed: "I’m hugely excited to have been asked by the board to assume the role of President and take Pavilion Worldwide Group through the next chapter in its development. I've been with Dr. Miller and the Pavilion board for well over two years now and we’ve forged a fantastic relationship that has resulted in significant growth and many new opportunities.”

“I’m looking forward to steering Pavilion through the next period of rapid growth, delivering on our business plan and realising our long-term vision. I will also be announcing some major new hires in the coming weeks to further strengthen our senior management team as we move forward.”

Mr. Irvine has worked in betting and gaming for almost two decades, beginning with the launch of British betting behemoth bet365. Since then, he has held senior high-profile roles with gaming businesses in the UK, Germany, Ireland and Italy, as well as working for some years as a freelance consultant.

Dr. Miller commented: "Mark has proved himself to be an invaluable part of the Pavilion management team and he has brought strategic direction, financial prudence and invaluable commercial skills to the company. The board was unanimous in its decision to appoint Mark as President and we are delighted he has agreed step up to this new role.

“We’re about to make some major announcements about our business and having a proven industry veteran to help drive the business forward during a time of rapid growth and innovation gives us strong leadership going forwards."

Pavilion has already signed major licensing deals with the likes of CBS to bring over a dozen iconic TV shows, including Frasier, Taxi and The Honeymooners, to the gaming sector. Many more licensing and distribution deals are set to follow.
