Inspired has announced that its SVP of Asia and Strategic Markets, Harmen Brenninkmeijer, will be moderating a session on Regulation vs. Prohibition at G2E Asia, which takes place on 19th-21st May in Macao.

Brenninkmeijer commented: “Asia is an incredibly interesting growth region, particularly for gaming. There are a lot of opportunities to introduce new types of gambling, but this naturally gives rise to the age-old debate between prohibition and regulation.

“My experience in the gaming industry, and particularly at Inspired, has been that cleaning up illegal gambling markets and establishing sound regulations to ensure player protection and tax collection is a positive step for governments, players and society in general. It’s a topic close to my heart so I am thrilled to be moderating a session on this very issue,” adds Brenninkmeijer.

For a number of years, Inspired has been working with operators across Asia to share its knowledge and experience in the implementation of new regulations and gaming services. Asia is a key market for Inspired’s Virtual Sports and Mobile propositions. In China, Inspired’s Virtual Motor Racing rapid draw lottery game “Lucky Racing” is the best performing lottery product in Hunan Province. Its Virtual Football, “E-Ball,” is live in the largest province for sports lottery in China, Jiangsu Province. It will also soon be launching its Virtual Sports in the Philippines with the DFNN Group of Companies.
