The new themes are set to hit casinos later this year. Both expand upon the popular 5-reel debut themes with full-reel wilds, Nudging Double Action Stacked Symbols, monster battle features, dungeon adventure bonuses, dual-screen free games, Xtra Reward, a 4-level standalone progressive, and more.
"Being one of the first in the country to launch Dungeons & Dragons was great for our guests and the games have maintained excellent performance here at Valley View Casino & Hotel,” said Randy Reedy, vice president of slot operations. “With the unique bonus features found in the new Dungeons & Dragons games, we are very excited to offer this to our guests and again see excellent performance. Konami has once again created very strong themes to offer to the players."
According to Matt Reback, vice president, marketing at Konami, “We designed the initial Dungeons & Dragons offering to be fantasy-themed games full of adventuring wizards, fighters and rogues. These products, when coupled with the authentic Dungeons & Dragons brand and game play elements such as strong heroes, unique monsters and suspense around every corner, have resulted in terrific performance. With our second release of games, we will build on this success by offering a rich, fantasy experience with a dungeon maze patrons can explore and get into monster battles, and the wheel spin progressive feature. The new games offer new play experiences, but are still rooted in the elements that made our introductory games work with the core slot player.”
“The Dungeons & Dragons games have been a tremendous success at Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort from the moment they were placed on the gaming floors,” said Trenni Martinez, director of slot operations.
