Social application and technology development form Eventure Interactive has confirmed the launch of a new mobile games division.

The company said that ‘EventurePlay’ has been designed to complement its social calendaring application and the new SmartSeen camera and streaming hub.

Games released through EventurePlay will be free to access and will promote a social interaction of players to local events organized through the firm’s social calendaring application.

Eventure also noted that there will be a “revenue-up spell” in each game that will enable players to purchase premium virtual items during gameplay.

The first EventurePlay games are expected to hit the market this summer.

“Our new game division expands our overall product offering and provides a more complete experience for users,” Eventure founder Gannon Giguiere said.

John Keema, who has been appointed as director of the EventurePlay division, added: “Being able to leverage my experience in interactive development, content production, and graphical design is a dream come true.

“The pipeline of titles we have developed at Eventure are amazing, and we are now charged forward with the launch of a series of games to support our larger mission of providing memorable experiences inside of event participation.”
