The contract renewal comes on the heels of the success of the first Master Series Audit Class training, which was held last December. NIGA coordinated with GLI to conduct two new Master Class Series, the first on June 24-26, and the second on December 9-11. Both training series will take place at the company’s GLI University® Training Center in Las Vegas.
Registration will be available through NIGA.
GLI National Director of Tribal Development Russell Witt said, “Each and every day of our 25+ year history, GLI has had the great fortune of working closely with tribes across North America, and today we work with more than 250. We are honored to renew this contract, which brings our hands-on training to the full NIGA membership. We have proven the series to be meaningful and informative, and we are confident the training series will continue to help position tribes for even greater operational and compliance strength and stability.”
The Master Class Series is a first-of-its-kind, state-of-the-art training program combining theory-based classroom and hands-on exercises designed to empower tribal gaming regulators, operators, IT, marketing and tribal leadership. The Master Class Series focuses on five key areas critical to tribal gaming operations:
Online Accounting System Audits
Class II Gaming System and Bingo Audits
Promotional System Audits
Gaming Floor Audits
Network Risk Assessments
In addition to the Master Class Series, GLI developed training modules for all three levels of the Commissioner Certification Training series:
Level I: Anatomy of a Gaming Machine
Level II: A Journey of a Gaming Device Submission
Level III: Network Risk Assessments
