Turning profitable after 4 years of investments
Strong revenue growth over the last years, and especially in 2014, pushes FRANCE PARI into profits:
This profitability is mainly achieved through the results of its B2B activity (SPORTNCO) whose revenues have doubled in 2014, and also those of its sports betting operator activity (www.france-pari.fr) whose revenues were up 46 per cent.
To support this growth, FRANCE PARI has grown its R&D investment by 50%, especially in mobile betting technologies. The company has recruited engineers and IT developers: in one year total staff has grown from 23 to 34 people. As a result of the quality of its mobile technology, company has been selected to be associated with FRENCH TECH national program which aims to promote internationally the French technological know-how.
“2014 has been a key milestone for our company, that proves its ability to turn profitable, a result few would have bet on when we started operating only on the French market in 2010!” said Hervé SCHLOSSER, founder and CEO of FRANCE PARI. “It shows how relevant our business model on B2B and B2C online betting activities for regulated markets is: the unique quality of our betting turnkey solutions has enabled us to acquire and keep more and more B2B customers over the years, while our direct link with punters as an operator is essential to develop solutions that are always up-to-date with their needs.¨ He added : “With strong financials and especially net equity above 52% of the total balance sheet, our company will have access to new funding leverage in order to accelerate our international development”.
Same market share as Française des Jeux in online sports betting in France
In Q4 2014, the global market share of our 6 sports betting platforms operated in France : Joa-online.fr, NetBet.fr, ZEbet.fr, france-pari.fr, genybet.fr and feelingbet.fr) reached the level as the one from the historical state monopoly La Française des Jeux.
Globally in 2014, our bookmakers team dealt with more than 65M€ of amounts wagered on the 10 different betting platforms we run in Europe, representing an average daily volume of 5.000 to 10.000 punters.
Innovation: First sports betting app for Windows Phone
The two key priorities for FRANCE PARI strong forecasted development in 2015 will be:
- Innovation through new releases in mobile solutions and apps for smartphones and tablets
- International growth, especially in Europe and Africa.
To this, FRANCE PARI will release in April the first sports betting app for Windows Phones in France, with a full native solution.
The company will be the first operator, among the 11 that have a sports betting license from ARJEL, to offer a complete and fully native range of apps for the 3 major Smartphones markets segments : iPhone, Androïd and now Windows Phones.
This new mobile app will then be proposed to all our B2B partners in France and abroad.
Additionally, SPORTNCO, its B2B entity, will soon announce the launch of a new range of mobile native apps dedicated to tablets that will reinforce its position and focus, as a specialist of mobile betting solutions.
