A closed session, "Balancing the Needs of Consumers, Governments and Licensed Operators in a Regulated Framework" for government regulators, lottery officials and public policy makers, will be taking place at the iGaming North America Conference.

The principle aims of iGaming regulation are to protect consumers and generate valuable tax revenue and jobs. Yet a vibrant industry can be compromised by unnecessarily burdensome regulations that clash with commercial interests.

A 12-year veteran of the industry will offer specific examples of what he describes as the ‘good, the bad and the ugly,’ in terms of regulated frameworks. This interactive session will offer government representatives the chance to explore real world scenarios and determine how best to build a system that achieves the core objectives of all stakeholders.

"Any regulator or policy maker interested in understanding the do's and don'ts of regulating online gaming will find this session informative. You will hear industry experts discuss their real life online gaming experiences as we explore how to create an effective regulatory environment that protects the public interest while growing a successful marketplace," said moderator Susan Hensel, Director of Licensing, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

The expert speakers include:

- Jeffrey Haas, Group Director, Poker, bwin.party Digital Entertainment
- Anna Sainsbury, CEO, GeoComply
- Susan Hensel, Director of Licensing, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board

The iGaming North America Conference will take place on the April 14th - 16th , 2015.
