(UK).- Social gaming company Zynga has ended its real-money gaming partnership with online gaming operator bwin.party in a move that will confirm the closure of the ZyngaPlus casino and poker products.

Zynga entered into partnership with bwin.party as part of an effort to expand its services into the real-money gaming market. Under the partnership, Zynga and bwin.party jointly developed and launched the ZyngaPlusPoker and ZyngaPlysCasino real-money gaming products on Facebook.

At the time, the two companies explained that they hoped to attract new casino and poker players on social platforms by offering such real-money gaming services through the social networking website to consumers in the UK.

However, despite the games having been live on Facebook for some time, Zynga confirmed in a message to players that the services will soon shut down. “We are very sorry to announce that ZyngaPlusPoker and ZyngaPlusCasino will be closing shortly,” Zynga said.
