What was the outcome from Ainsworth’s participation in ICE 2015?
We had outstanding results! Visitors from all continents, including some from Latin America, had the opportunity to experience some of the latest and greatest in gaming technology showcased; such as the new SL cabinet, game themes, link progressives, multi games and online gaming just to name a few. The feedback from our clients was incredible and as a result the sales commitment was unprecedented.
Which product was the star of Ainsworth’s booth?
The most notable product at our stand was the A560®SL.This is the newest cabinet for the A560 line, a one-screen wonder especially designed and custom-built for a unique entertaining game range. Featuring a striking 32” high definition display, 19” LCD Topper option for Jackpot promotion, unique attract lighting package stylized to the game, premium surround sound technology, sky-high stacks and breathtaking animations. The SL offers a wide variety of titles such as Frontier ™ Rumble Rumble ™, Big Bang Bucks ™, Flying Horse ™, King Cat ™, Fire Wizard ™, Ice Wizard ™, Power Fruit 7’s™ and Mega Fruit 7’s ™ , as well as many more titles that will be released in 2015.
Even though ICE was a massive success, did you notice a drop in attendance from Latin American clients?
That is correct. We noticed a decrease in attendance from Latin America operators. However, we hosted some of the most important Latin American clients from Argentina, Mexico, and the Caribbean which all in all had very positive results. In my view, the decrease in attendance is a direct result of the excessive number of gaming shows hosted throughout Latin America these days.
This year the industry experienced large mergers between leading companies. How will this affect Ainsworth activities in the market?
