(Vietnam).- The Grand Ho Tram Strip and World Gaming Group Limited has announced that The Grand – Asia’s only beachfront-integrated resort – will be home to Vietnam’s International Poker Festival, according to the APT Vietnam.

President of The Grand Ho Tram Strip, Shaun McCamley exclaimed, “Following our signing of an agreement with WGG last month, it is extremely exciting to be able to announce that the first-ever international, world-class poker tournament in Vietnam will be played at the Grand Ho Tram Strip. We’re absolutely delighted to be bringing one of the world’s most recognizable poker brands – the Asian Poker Tour – to Ho Tram.”

Chief Executive Officer of World Gaming Group, Andrew W Scott, added: “Over the last five years the APT has deservedly built a strong reputation with poker players across Asia and indeed the world as a professional, well-run tour with poker festivals that are profitable and fun to play.”
“The combination of the world-class 5-star facilities at Ho Tram, Vietnam’s fantastic weather, a two kilometer-long sandy beach just meters from your hotel room, a Greg Norman-designed Championship golf course and top-quality international standard poker will be impossible to beat.”

The tournament is operated within the regulations set out by the Ba Ria Vung Tau Department of Industry and Trade.
