“Abbiati will focus on researching potential new markets”

(UK, exclusive Yogonet.com).- A few days after the conclusion of the 2015 edition of ICE, Giorgio Abbiati, CEO of Abbiati Casino Equipment, spoke about the performance of the firm and also commented about on the different markets in which the company operates and the situation of the gaming industry in general. “The expansion plans of company for the near future include the ongoing selection of successful partnerships to enter new unexplored markets,” he said.

Which were the products that generated more interest among the folks that visited your booth at ICE?
All Abbiati products have attracted the attention of our visitors, due to our wide range of products dedicated to live and live on-line gaming.

As a part of our core business, we have showcased our brand-new line of casino currency products, which includes new generation chips and plaques, fitted out with innovative security features and available in multiple personalized designs. In the last few years, our company has invested a lot of resources and effort into the enchantment of our casino currency products line. Abbiati has concentrated on the research and development of new advanced security features, to avoid thefts and counterfeiting in casinos. The high security level of our casino currency make Abbiati products unique and increasingly requested by the customers.

The visitors also had the possibility to see our new “Tie” chips. This innovative chip model features multiple injections, see-thru inserts and a combination of intricate and inventive rim and edge inserts. As usual, Abbiati has presented a number of new high-end gaming tables designed and manufactured with precious composite materials and innovative finishing.

Being an exclusive worldwide distributor of Modiano, Abbiati showcased to our visitors a complete range of 100% plastic and paper/plastic-coated playing cards, including new high security features in the card series; for example tracking mechanisms and cards with barcodes, dedicated specifically to online live gaming.

What are the brand’s goals and expectations for 2015? How is Abbiati planning to achieve them?
The expansion plans of the company for the near future include the ongoing selection of successful partnerships to enter new unexplored markets and to cooperate with new casino operators in these zones around the world.

What are you going to do in order to help strengthen business activities in established markets? How about pushing into potential new markets?
Being based in Italy, Abbiati establishes itself as one of the leading casino equipment suppliers in Europe, where company has a very strong presence in both, VIP and mass markets. We also have a very strong presence in African and Asian countries. Especially talking about Asian countries, Abbiati has had a large expansion over the last few years.

We have now also reached out across the Atlantic with our Miami-based Businesses Development Manager of the Americas, Mrs. Misty Rodda, where we are seeing an influx of new customers from the Americas, mainly including the Caribbean. With new business in the Dominican Republic, Curacao, Aruba, St. Kitts , St. Maarten, Trinidad, Surinam, Antigua and California, we look forward to bringing the quality and customer service Abbiati is known for, to this area, yet at very competitive pricing for this market.

Bearing in mind that the gaming industry has suffered some downturns –take Macau, for example-, what will businesses do to overcome the crisis? 
First, we will concentrate on research of new potential markets. The second step we take is to develop and introduce to the gaming operators new dedicated products, which would match their particular needs.

Abbiati is famous for our flexibility and creativity to offer to the gaming industry dedicated and personalized products, which often are designed and achieved in close collaboration with the final client.

How has your performance been in other Asian countries?
As I mentioned earlier, Abbiati has seen a large expansion in Asia over the past few years. Our company has seen big orders coming from Macau and Philippines operations, along with long-time continuous collaborations as well as with the operators from other different Asian countries. We do believe, Abbiati will continue its expansion in this region in both ways, looking after existing clients and entering new markets.
