The Horseshoe brought in US$ 23.2 million, up from the US$ 22.9 million it generated in December. The South Baltimore casino is still trailing projections that it would average more than US$ 31 million in monthly revenue. Of the state's three smaller casinos, the Casino at Ocean Downs, was the only venue to grow revenue last month. It generated US$ 3.38 million in January, up 6.6 percent from January 2014.
Hollywood Casino Perryville's revenue decreased 4.9 percent from January 2014, falling to US$ 6 million from US$ 6.3 million. And Rocky Gap Casino Resort's revenue fell slightly to US$ 2.97 million, a 1.8 percent slip from US$ 3.03 million in January 2014.
