Mansion Group closes German casino operations
The Playtech-powered casino operator confirmed the closure of services for these five brands on February 1st.
Iaffiliates, the marketing and acquisition arm of five withdrawing casinos, sent out a company statement on January 29, warning affiliate and media partners of the changes in policy regarding German operations.
The iAffiliates statement read “This closer ONLY affects players based in Germany; German-speaking players from other countries are not affected by these restrictions. All accounts will have to be frozen no later than January 30th, 2015”.
Mansion Group senior management has decided to comply with German federal laws regarding online gambling. Industry news reports have suggested that the operator is unlikely to seek a German online gambling license from the Hesse Ministry.
