(UK, Exclusive Yogonet.com).- In an exclusive talk with Yogonet, TransAct’s Senior Vice President of Global Casino Gaming and Lottery, Tracey Chernay, highlighted the firm’s goals for one of the most important gaming events of the year and expressed its happiness to have partnered up with Suzo-Happ: “We are well aligned and our transition to wards working with them has been seamless.”

What are your expectations for ICE Totally Gaming 2015?

ICE is a highly-anticipated event for TransAct each year, as this is the one chance we have to meet many of our casino and OEM customers from across Europe, all in one location.

This year we will exhibit for the first time with Suzo-Happ Europe, our Global Distribution Partnership. Since January of this year, Suzo-Happ Europe has seamlessly added our Epic family of products into their portfolio of offerings and our joint exhibition at ICE will have more to offer European Operators and OEMs than ever before. We already have many important meetings and demonstrations scheduled and also look forward to reconnecting with our industry colleagues.

What will you be showcasing?

TransAct will present the Epicentral Print System as our featured product with the theme “Ask Us How?” Epicentral is the software system that works together with the Epic 950® printer and Serverport™ to increase casino revenues by enabling operators to deliver real time promotions and bonus offers to their players, direct from the slot machine or electronic table game.

Since its introduction, Epicentral has consistently delivered proven, meaningful performances in ongoing floor-wide marketing operations. Now at 11 casinos with over 10,500 electronic gaming machines, customers are reporting a 46% average increase in slot handle the evening of a coupon-drawing promotion, a 100% increase in lower-tier player average daily theoretical (ADT), a 37% increase in weekday afternoon slot handle, a 14% increase in average player time on device, a 60% increase in new player enrollment in their loyalty programs, an 87% redemption rate of coupons that encourage mid-week visits, and an 86% increase in points earned by players club members.

In addition to Epicentral, we will also present our industry leading ticket-in, ticket-out printer product, the Epic 950, as well as the Epic 880 and Epic 430 roll printers that used in the growing European Sports Betting markets.

Which of your products has had the best performance in the European market?

The Epic 950 ticket-in, ticket-out printer has been widely accepted by the Casino Operators as their printer of choice. We have integrated the printer into all games types and it is available for both legacy-  as well as new games. This “one printer for all game types” is an advantage for the operators as they can standardize on one type of printer that will meet all their game needs. Additionally, with Epicentral, they can easily upgrade the Epic 950 to provide promotional printing as well as ticket-in, ticket-out printing. All from the same reliable printer they have come to know and rely upon.

What are operators most common concerns?

In our experience, Operators want a combination of reliability, innovation and service. TransAct has achieved the reliability factor with the stellar performance of the Epic 950, we have clearly offered innovation with the introduction of the Epicentral Software System, and now with our new partnership with Suzo-Happ, we have a world-class European service organization to complete our offer.

How has the partnership with Suzo-Happ impacted your business?

In a word, fantastic! Like TransAct, Suzo-Happ always looks to exceed customer expectations so we are well-aligned and our transition to working with them has been seamless. In fact, we will be in the Suzo-Happ booth with the Epicentral Software System and the Epic 950, the Epic 430 and Epic 880 printers.

How is TransAct positioned today, bearing in mind that big gaming companies have gained territory through seeking new market opportunities?

At TransAct we have strong long-standing relationships with all the major gaming companies and we work closely with the firms that are merging as they adjust their operations to reflect the needs of the merged companies.
