Now in its 15th year, the Training Top 125 ranking is based on multiple benchmark statistics, such as total training budget; percentage of payroll; number of training hours per employee program; goals, evaluation, measurement, and workplace surveys; hours of training per employee annually; and detailed formal programs.
A panel of judges for the Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces Awards evaluated each applicant based on the eight elements of employee engagement: communication, leadership, culture, rewards and recognition, professional and personal growth, accountability and performance, vision and values, and corporate social responsibility.
A cornerstone of the company’s training program is the MGM Resorts University, offering a curriculum that includes a computer certification program, Spanish as a second language, English as a second language and an array of management and leadership programs.
