Schenectady Mayor expected to focus on casino licenses

(US).- Schenectady Mayor Gary McCarthy will deliver his 2015 State of the City Address on Monday, where he will highlight last year’s accomplishments and outline the city’s objectives for 2015. One of the topics to be discussed is the fact that the Electric City as been awarded one of the three upstate casino licenses.
The USD 300 million plan would develop Mohawk Harbor into a Las Vegas-style casino.
It is expected to bring about 1,000 full- and part time jobs to the city.
