(US).- Over a chat with Yogonet.com, Elaine Driscoll, Massachusetts Gaming Commission Director of Communications, commented on the City of Boston's lawsuit. “The Commission believes that we have reviewed these issues thoroughly, objectively and fairly, and that the exhaustive review helped lead to the decision, with the appropriate conditions, to award the Wynn license,” she explained.

The executive went further: “The commission has not yet had an opportunity to review the City of Boston’s complaint, but during the past year we have addressed the issues that the City raised during the press conference - multiple times in both a public and transparent manner. “

“The Commission believes that we have reviewed these issues thoroughly, objectively and fairly, and that the exhaustive review helped lead to the decision to award the Wynn license with appropriate conditions. The Commission continues to believe that our resolution was appropriate but also fully understand that the parties who are disappointed in our decision may want to test that belief through litigation,” she added.

She concluded that if the commission would have further comment after having had a chance to carefully review the complaint, they will make such a comment at that time.
