(US).- Maryland's casinos generated USD 85.6 M in December, down from last month's revenues. State revenue totals released Monday show that excluding Horseshoe Casino Baltimore - which opened in August - revenue at the state's other four casinos were all down.

Factoring in the opening of Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, revenues increased by USD 20.6 million from December 2013 to last month. That's a 31.7 percent increase.

The Maryland Live! casino in Hanover generated the most revenue last month, at about USD 50.2 million. That's a 4.4 percent decrease from December 2013.

Baltimore's casino generated about USD 22.9 million in December, though it hasn't reached the projections made by state consultants.

Revenue at Hollywood Casino Perryville, about 34 miles north of Baltimore, also dropped about 7 percent.
