Originally the gambling bill was proposed in 2013 but now lawmakers in the country are pushing forward in the hope that it will help boost its number one revenues earner tourism, which sees over 10 million visitors each year descend on the small principality and government officials hope that by building a casino will help further economic growth.

Concerning online gambling market Antoni said the government had not quite finished the new laws that would regulate the industry but believes the second part of 2015 will see them announced. It is widely expected that Andorra will work with its neighbors to create liquidity in the online gambling market should the laws be passed by parliament later this year.
