(US).- Nevada is the only state that currently offers online poker and began their foray into iGaming with a bang, only to see the revenues become stagnant over the past few months. According to figures released by gaming regulators in Nevada, online poker has only been able to bring in around USD 650,000 on average each month since September.

In the early months of 2014, the sites earned as much as USD 926,000 monthly before  the World Series of poker came to town in June and everyone was giving online poker gaming a go. For that month, the state was able to push past the US$ 1 million mark to USD 1,037,000 in revenues.

After June,  income began to decrease somewhat with only USD 985,000 in July and USD 742,000 earned in August. It was in September when income hit under USD 700,000 and for November, the state was only able to earn USD 641,000 in online poker revenues. The industry has somewhat stalled in Nevada and has seen similar revenues over the past few months with December totals to be released over the next few weeks.

In overall gaming numbers, the state was able to earn USD 876.3 million, with online poker making up only a small fraction of the revenues earned.
