Bearing in mind that Europe’s online gaming industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the continent, the European Online Gaming Forum convenes to look at the current state of affairs in European iGaming, looking at regulation, safety, business strategies and emerging trends. The European Comission has estimated that by 2015, revenues from the iGaming industry will reach €13b.
Key Regulators and Industry Leaders An impressive line-up of key regulators will take part in the forum. Some highlights include a keynote address on how the European Commission supports online gaming development, to be delivered by EC representative Harrie Temmink, a session dubbed "Navigating the Regulatory Landscape in Europe" and a fascinating panel looking into the future of gambling.
The regulators will be joined by key industry leaders, operators and suppliers, with representatives from companies such as Amaya, Playtech and Betfair as well as leaders of key European iGaming associations.
Focus on UK Regulation With the recent implementation of the Gambling Act 2014 in the UK, the forum will look at the challenges it has created and the solutions offered, and how the iGaming market responded and is responding to the new reality. A session completely dedicated to the subject dubbed "How to Comply with Your New British License" will take place the day after the forum lowers the curtain.
