(Spain).- Andorra's legislative committee completed a draft bill intended to regulate the industry in the country by permitting one external operator to set up a casino.

The small European nation is currently unable to access online or land-based gambling facilities.

It is hoped that this facility will attract some of the millions of tourists that pass through Andorra each year.

The new bill will also allow residents in the country to access a range of online gambling and poker websites.

Discussions over the regulation of online poker in the European country began in 2013, with the country hoping to collect additional tax income from revenue generated via such activities.

Voting on the new bill is due to begin early next year.
