What were your goals for SAGSE 2014? Did the show fulfill your expectations?
The current year has been very important to increase and strengthen relationships in the Argentine industry, both at lottery and state betting levels, well as regarding manufacturers and operators. The idea was to consolidate alliances and offer FADJA services to support the business development, considering the temporary hardships that the sector is facing, but which has the possibility of recovery, seeking new horizons and with great confidence. The show fulfilled our expectations.
What did you chat about with Argentine operators and manufacturers? What are their main requests regarding events such as SAGSE and FADJA?
We spoke with several manufacturers and operators that expressed their wish to return to FADJA or to exhibit for the first time at the Colombian show. They have repeated to us that they think two days is a very short time to explore the event in depth, and wish we could extend it at least one more day. In response to that demand, we are pleased to announce that we have extended the schedule of FADJA for 2015- we will open the doors to the public at 11am on both April 8 &9.
As FADJA organizers, How can you meet those demands and help operators and manufacturers empower their businesses?
We have specialized in organizing events and congresses for some time now. However, we are starting to assess different brands and operators who reach out to new markets. 2014 was an exceptional year for us because we organized SIJUEGO for the Latin American Corporation of Lotteries and State Betting(CIBELAE). It was a top-level international seminar that saw delegates from 13 countries attend, in which important decisions were made and in which both the image and management of the corporation were strengthened.
Could you establish new contacts with international companies?
Of course! SAGSE is a must-see event with huge prestige for both traditional and new companies in the sector. We took advantage of the space to present ourselves and invite players in the industry to participate at the show in 2015. In previous shows, we were negotiating a stand for the Argentine industry, through the Embassy in Bogota. We were not able to achieve the goal, yet we will not continue our efforts for upcoming editions.
