What can you say about firm’s performance in 2014?
Our award-winning Epic 950 ticket-in ticket-out printers, Epicentral and TransAct continued to gain momentum with an increasing number of installations and an expanding worldwide footprint. Casino acceptance of our printers and system continue to grow based on a number of key factors: on-going stability and reliability of the Epic 950, compatibility with all game types including legacy and new platforms, and TransAct’s outstanding reputation for customer support and responsiveness. Since the introduction of Epicentral, the system has consistently delivered proven, meaningful performance in ongoing floor-wide marketing programs and is currently deployed across over 10,500 electronic gaming machines at eleven casinos.
What are company’s expectations for 2015?
We’re looking forward to a solid year of expansion for both the Epicentral and our Epic 950 footprint. The number of casinos choosing the ultra-reliable Epic 950 as their printer of choice is an all-time high and as more casinos replace outdated and unreliable printers the Epic 950 becomes the clear choice for operators.
At the end of September this year we announced an expansion of our existing distribution agreement with Suzo-Happ. Beginning in January 2015, Suzo-Happ will be our exclusive distributor in all European territories. This active partnership establishes Suzo-Happ as the exclusive distributor of TransAct casino and gaming printing solutions to casino and gaming operators in the U.S. as well as both operators and manufacturers in Europe and Asia. Can you reveal to us some launching, plans or news for next year?
In 2015 we will continue to deliver on our commitment of stability and reliability of the Epic 950 ticket printer for both new and legacy games and to increase awareness for the real metrics that the Epicentral Software System is delivering for casino customers such as double-digit revenue growth, outstanding growth over 60% in new players club registrations and unparalleled customer acceptance of printed offers at the game. As casino operators have come to expect from TransAct, we will continue to provide them with unmatched support on training, firmware, and new tools to make their jobs easier.
Recently, you held the first Annual Epicentral User conference? How did it turn out? Will you host more in the future?
We hosted our first annual Epicentral User Conference immediately prior to the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas on September 29 of this year. Current Epicentral users shared first-hand the incredible performance benefits that our promotional and bonusing software solution is delivering to their gaming operations.
The Conference provided an opportunity for power users to share ideas, see how other users are utilizing the system and learn how to leverage Epicentral to generate enhanced performance across their electronic gaming machine floors and drive increased revenue in their casinos.
We are excited by the success of our first Conference and expect the event to evolve and grow in the coming years as additional customers harness the power of Epicentral to improve the performance of their electronic gaming machines. The entire team at TransAct thanks our inaugural attendees and we look forward to presenting a more in-depth event next year.
What are your clients’ biggest concerns?
In today’s industry environment casino operators are constantly looking for ways to best optimize their marketing efforts to drive revenue growth. Casinos are looking to differentiate themselves from their peers as competition for customer attention and player spend multiplies each day.
With Epicentral creating innovative and real-time promotion and bonus offers that deliver results such as a 34% increase in customer return visits and a doubling of ADT, we believe it is an essential tool for casino operators’ marketing efforts.
