What can you say about firm’s performance in 2014?
2014 has been a remarkable year for Innovative Technology with record sales and expansions. A year of celebrations, we received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade and were named the 13th fastest-growing private company in Great Britain.
The year ended with the completion of a new 3,344 sqm purpose-built and state-of-the-art office facility, at our head office in the Innovative Business Park in Oldham. The new building encompasses a large open-planned office, directors’ suite, staff canteen, a larger workshop, optical laboratory and a development laboratory to allow our business to grow further in the future.
What are company’s expectations for 2015?
It’s an exciting time for Innovative Technology. The company is going from strength to strength and our growth plan is very much on-going. We are constantly developing new products, expanding our operations and sales into new areas and investigating new technologies & markets. 2015 will see new products and technology as we continue to live up to our name providing innovative products for our core(gaming) sector as well as expanding into new markets worldwide.
Can you reveal to us any launchings, plans or news for the coming year?
The year will begin with a number of exciting exhibitions including ICE where we will launch a revolutionary new coin handling solution.
SMART Coin System is a combined bulk coin validator, mixed coin hopper and recycler. The unit validates, discriminates and stores mixed coins, eliminating coin starvation & the need for multiple hoppers. Boasting a market leading coin hopper capacity and fully audited efficient refills the SMART Coin System is designed to eliminate coin starvation and significantly reduce operator collection costs.
With an impressive pay in speed, and a market leading mixed coin pay-out speed of 12 coins per second the SMART Coin System is perfect for the high volume demands of the Gaming and Amusement Industries. The SMART Coin System’s bulk coin feeder reduces operator refill time by around 20%, a typical 25 minute refill is reduced to just 5 minutes, dramatically reducing operator collection costs.
In addition to our cash handling product range we will show a number of exciting printing products from our subsidiary InnoPrint at exhibitions next year. With a portfolio of compact coupon printers, high capacity flatbed ticket printers and the SMART Ticket InnoPrint will provide low-cost alternative printing products to the industry.
Innovative Technology has expanded this year with new offices and appointments. How is this working out?
This year we have added three further offices in Asia-Pacific, Italy and the US to our global structure, taking us tonline offices across five continents and more than 260 staff worldwide. At the same time we have extended our manufacturing facilities in China this year with a 2,500 square-meter factory expansion and in our Brazilian facility we have invested in a new surface mount line that will help us to increase our manufacturing capacity for South America.
Recent expansions have led to a new purpose built 36,000 sq ft state of the art office facility, at our head office on the Innovative Business Park in Oldham. The new building encompasses a large open plan office to accommodate future business growth, directors’ suite, staff canteen, a larger workshop, optical laborator and a development laboratory.
