The loss represents the third consecutive month of decline in online gaming revenue for New Jersey.
The amount generated in November is a far cry from the us$10.5 million recorded in August, the last month in which the state recorded month-on-month growth in the sector.
Borgata, in partnership with online poker brand PartyPoker, continues to lead the New Jersey online gaming market after generating USD 3.4 million in November, up slightly from the US$ 3.2 million posted the previous month.
In addition to a drop in online gaming revenue, New Jersey saw total gaming earnings from current operators fall from US$ 207.2 million in October to US$ 202.5 million last month.
Internet gaming earnings for the year-to-date stands at US$ 112.1 million while total gaming earnings from current operators, excluding those that have exited the state-wide market during the past year, amounts to just under USD 2.3 billion.
