What kind of public is the event oriented to? Operators, providers, etc?
Slot Summits (we also organize them in Europe and plan other continents) are three-day conferences specifically aimed at Operators of Slot Machines. Delegates are typically Slot Managers, Technical Managers Slots, Marketing Managers, Location Managers; in short anybody who would benefit from gaining more knowledge on the field of operating Slot Machines. Attendance to summits is not possible for suppliers; it is an operators only event, with exception of representatives of companies that sponsor the Slot Summit.

Why have you chosen Colombia to organize this type of training?
Colombia has a developed gaming industry and is going through changes in Gaming Regulation. I guess we could have chosen another country as well, with the Slot Summit Latin America becoming a yearly event; other Latin American countries will host it in the future.

What is the difference between the Slot Summit and the talks or conferences held in the Latin American region?
Slot Summits are tailored to Slot Management only. It is an event where Operator get the chance to learn first had from Captains of Industry who speak at the event, but also they have the chance to network with colleges from the industry and spend quality time with the sponsors (something that is difficult at trade shows).

Considering your experience, how do you evaluate the level of professionalization of the executives in Latin America?
I love Latin America for its Gaming Locations! I find Management overall super motivated, proud of what they do and willing to learn. I always enjoy getting on a plane direction Latin America.

How many assistants do you expect for this event in Bogota?
With this being the first Slot Summit in Latin America; rather than going for mass, I prefer to go for quality. I think we will have around 45-50 delegates, which keeps the Summit somewhat intimate and an excellent opportunity to really get to know all delegates and get good feedback for future sessions.

Have you planned a Slot Summit in other places in Latin America?
Slot Summits have been organized in Slovenia, Germany (2X) and France (2X). With Clarion Events (the organizer of the biggest Gaming Exhibition in the World: ICE in London), being the new majority shareholder of Slot Summit, we are looking at possibilities to branch out to other continents. I hope to be able to host 4 Slot Summits per year in 4 different continents.
