(UK).- The Dexter House in London received about 150 regulators, operators and professionals of the iGaming industry, for the first ever Bitcoin4iGaming Conference that took place on November 24 in the UK. Its mains topics were advantages of using Bitcoin, the regulations that come with it, the future of crypto-currencies and Altcoins, among others.

The sessions covered the currency from different aspects and the focus was mostly on its role in the growing online gambling industry.

The speakers for the day were carefully selected by Michael Caselli from iGaming Business and his experience from working with GoCoin’s Eric Benz came in very useful. The quality of speakers was admired by participants and it helped show how powerful technology can be in comparison to the actual currency value.

The conference was very positive, despite the fact that some sessions explained some of the risks that come with this online currency.

The main highlight from the conference remains the fact that governments and the general population still need to be educated on the use of Bitcoin and the benefits it can provide, especially in the iGaming industry. The block-chain technology that comes with Bitcoin can be used in many different ways, according to the panelists. Some of the examples included debt collection, medical management, voting systems and more.
