Paddy Power appoints new non-executive director

(Ireland).- Paddy Power has announced that Gary McGann has joined the company as an independent, non-executive director.McGann, who currently serves as group CEO of the corrugated packaging company Smurfit Kappa Group, will also become a member of the audit committee at Paddy Power.
In addition to his senior management role at Smurfit Kappa, McGann is chairman of the Aon Ireland subsidiary of insurance company Aon and is a non-executive director of Irish Real Estate Investment Trust Green REIT.
Paddy Power chairman Nigel Northridge said: “We are very pleased that Gary is joining us as a non-executive director. The depth of skills and experience that he has acquired with leading large international businesses will be of considerable value as Paddy Power continues to develop and grow.”
