What were your expectations at SAGSE Buenos Aires?
SAGSE is one of the most important events in Latin America and we came here to meet operators and casino owners to promote new products and increase our presence in the Latin American market.
What DLV product had the best results in the last year?
We do not sell machines in Argentina, but we did find many contacts; the last year we have even found a contact in Panama and this year we have already machines installed in that country. We have also sent machines to Paraguay. And we also have visitors from Peru and Central America.
Which are the goals of the company for Latin America for the near future?
To enter to regulated markets in places where we still have not penetrated. So far there are big markets that are not regulated yet, and we expect they open soon. But right now we want to go beyond: To Central America and the Caribbean, and sell machines in Peru, where we have more presence.
Which is the most mature Latin American market, in your opinion?
I think Peru is the most mature market because it is very well regulated. We are very happy and feel confident in that market. Panama is also very well regulated and we expect to continue selling machines there.
And what do you need to enter the Latin American market?
Well, I think operators need a change in the importation policy. And we don't think it will change in the near future. We are still having meetings with people in Argentina, we have contacts and, once the market opens, we will be there.
