“At SAGSE we wanted to position our brand in Latin America”

(Argentina, exclusive Yogonet.com).-EveryMatrix participated at the latest edition of SAGSE Buenos Aires, held last week in Costa Salguero, with its full portfolio of products. Yogonet.com talked to Per Otto Lekare, Manager of Business Development, America, who talked about the position of the company in the region and anticipated the long-term goals, on top of commenting the show. “We received a fantastic feedback in SAGSE,” said the executive.

What do you think of SAGSE?
SAGSE was a very good show. We didn’t expect so many visitors, and we met some very interesting people and several potential customers in Latin America, not just Mexico.

We were already present at the 2012 edition and we came back because Latin America is a very important market for us. We have recently opened offices in Mexico and we think it is one of the markets with more growth projection in the future.

What can you tell us about the offices in Mexico?
The idea of the offices in Mexico is to be present in the market, to met with customers face to face, and of course to be present at regional events with our customers and be their account manager and help them with technical issues. Our idea is to grow a lot.

How are you positioned in Argentina?
We made a lot of contacts in SAGSE to keep on working in the country.

How do you see the Argentinian market?
Legislation is a bit hard. It is complicated due to the economic situation, but we believe it will be solved, and we saw in SAGSE that there are many companies doing great investments, so we believe it can work properly.

What products have you presented in SAGSE?
A lot of people already know our portfolio of products; we present complete solutions for iGaming, from sportsbooks to casinos but, as we have several customers here, we wanted to position the brand. We already have sportsbooks in Mexico and we have always been present in Europe and Asia; now we are adapting to the Latin American market.

What was the feedback received by visitors?
Fantastic. People showed their interest in our products and I think that, so far, we are unique in our sector.

What makes you unique?
We offer complete solutions for online casinos, online betting, and possess a very interesting platform, where we have a unique collection for our customers. They can play at the casino with any of our 25 providers such as Aristcorat, NetEnt or Microgaming; and they can also play in sports, but with the same wallet and a unified bonus system. We also offer a huge collection of payment processors valid in Latin America.

What future do you think iGaming has in Latin America?
It is the largest market for us in the future. Latin America is an almost virgin market regarding iGaming, and will soon explode. Legislation is changing in each of the countries, and, if it is not this year, it will happen next year, so we are installing here to be the first ones.

Where is your firm better positioned in Latin America? And what about the rest of the world?
In Latin America, in Mexico and Brazil. The largest market is Europe, obviously, but we have offices in Philippines and we are growing a lot there, too. Europe is a very mature market. It is not saturated, but it has many operators, and we know that the rest of the world is waiting for us. Asia and Latin America are our future goals.
