(Australia / Macau).- Australian gaming mogul James Packer got the licence for his casino in Barangaroo in Sydney only by agreeing to shun Macau gaming empire founder Stanley Ho Hung Sun, The Daily Telegraph reports.

The Australian newspaper quotes the VIP gaming management agreement for the casino as saying the deal prevents Mr Packer from associating with Mr Ho.

US gaming regulators have accused Mr Ho of links to organised crime. He denies the accusations. Mr Packer and Mr Ho’s son, Lawrence Ho, are partners in Macau casino operator Melco Crown Entertainment.
