“For us, the Latin American market is fertile ground for product placement”

Sirplay is a Maltese company dedicated to the development and design of sports-books software. The final product combines the usability and flexibility of the sports book software with the state-of-the-art technology and the security of the equipment. 

The aim is to achieve a new entertainment thanks to a new multimedia technical platform with technology addressed to the online customer satisfaction and real operators.

Why have you decided to exhibit in SAGSE Latin America @ Buenos Aires?
We always had the aim to expand in Latin America. Our firm debuted in SAGSE Central America & Caribbean last May. We had a fantastic experience in Panama, where we exhibited our complete gaming platform, we met many visitors and received a lot of positive comments about our products. It was a successful debut that exceeded our expectations. That’s why we have decided to participate in SAGSE Latin America @ Buenos Aires as well. 

In which Latin American markets are you already present and which countries do you aim to enter?
We have a stable position in Panama, Argentina and Colombia. Our goal is to continue with our promotional campaign in the Latin American market, to achieve the best expansion possible. For us, the Latin American market is a fertile ground for product placement, so we see Buenos Aires show also as an opportunity to meet with our existing and new contacts.

What does the region need for the development and growth of the online betting and gaming segment?
Latin America has a great potential for the online betting and gambling industry. Several countries such as Chile, Peru and Colombia, are making progress with regard to the gambling situation. However, we believe much more can be done. For example, Brazil and Argentina are not having the same intense activity. Therefore, it is important that those countries, which are so important in terms of population and economic volume, channel their regulatory processes. 

What Sirplay products have more growth potential in Latin America and why? Which are their main features?
Sirplay offers a very complete platform that does not include just the classic sports betting modile, but also many attractive games and modules provided by third-parties: live betting, poker, live poker, 3D poker, casino, live casino, races and virtual games.

But working on the Latin American market, we have checked that the most requested product is sports. With our sportsbook module, bets can be placed both by players and agents. Players can choose from a wide variety of events: more than 20 categories of sports and 2,200 championships. This module has a strong but flexible structure, with an attractive interface and customized. This service is, no doubt, our great strength and football in particular is still, from Mexico to Argentina, the sport of choice.

Which are the goals of the company in the short and medium term?
Sirplay is working to open a venue in Latin America. We will be operational in six months and, in a year, we have the aim to hire operators to be in charge of the technical support. Opening a development center in Latin America is an ambicious project we want to carry out as soon as possible; deadline will obviously vary according to the market demand. 

Another novelty, ready to be released, is a new product, an online sportsbook betting terminal that will be introduced in SAGSE Buenos Aires. It will specially satisfy the betshops needs.
