How are you preparing for SAGSE? What are your expectations?
We are very happy to be present in SAGSE, which historically has been the best Latin American show.
This year, many companies have decided not to participate as exhibitors due to import restrictions in Argentina. What motivates to be present once again in SAGSE beyond the current market conditions?
I understand completely the decision of the companies that decided not to assist to the upcoming edition due to importation problems, but I think that we have to be even closer to our customers, who, due to political reasons, cannot continue buying our products. We decided to be present in SAGSE and trust that this situation will change sooner or later.
You have shared your stand with TCS John Huxley in previous editions, What has changed this year?
On one hand, TCS John Huxley will not have a stand this year. On the other hand, Copag has structured itself to sell its cards directly. Nowadays, our competition works directly with the customer and the cost is very important. That’s why, considering the great labor that TCS John Huxley has made with our products, we have decided to start with the direct sales. Now Copag counts with a structure dedicated to casinos, with people in charge of the sales and the logistic.
We are also putting into practice the interactivity of our website. Casinos may choose by Internet their cards preference and choose color, size and other features.
Beyond Argentina, which other regional markets are relevant for Copag?
We work very well in all Latin America. Fortunately, our products are very well accepted worldwide.
