Two industry veterans and long-term business partners founded Touchstone in 2008, combining their gaming experience of more than 50 years. The company cut its teeth on land-based skill games, slots, table games and virtual horse racing where it continues to enjoy success with its titles. The studio is now expanding into online gaming for the first time and has chosen the Odobo Developer Program to bring its talents and portfolio to an iGaming audience.
Touchstone develops novel game concepts that feel familiar to players while offering new mechanics to differentiate its content from existing real-money gaming products. A title such as Lucky Gems is based on Pachinko and Bagatelle mechanics with the addition of a pay table. This gives players a real-money version of classic games they already love to play.
Rob Smith, Legal and Business Affairs Manager at Odobo, said, “Taking well-loved games and adding the thrill of a real-money wager makes perfect sense. Touchstone Games is experienced and successful in land-based gaming and we’re honored that the team has chosen Odobo to bring its first game online.”
Julian Mudd from Touchstone Games, commented, “We chose Odobo for our first venture into iGaming because the Developer Program allows us to concentrate on the game build while Odobo handles everything else. This is important for a small but passionate team and will ensure we can deliver an exciting and high-quality HTML5 game.”
Operators signed up to offer Odobo games for real money include bet365, Betfair, Unibet and Coral Interactive.
