What are your expectations for G2E Las Vegas? What novelties will you be presenting?
The expectations for this year are huge because the new gaming law in Mexico has the potential to bring new investors to the market, giving way to a great expansion. That’s why we are expecting customers from all over the world, because it is one of the main events of the sector. FBM will bring its whole range of new specialty games to Las Vegas, including bingo games, such as 30 Mania Bonus, Rock Star Bingo, Golden Luck and Golden New Year, among others.
How has the last year been for the company and how do you see the local industry?
The last year can be considered a great year for FBM. The firm has grown considerably worldwide. Our install base has increased 31 percent compared to the same period last year. With regard to the US market, we have great expectations of the expansion of bingo, as more and more Class II games are constantly consolidating in the market, and generating a real possibility of expansion for companies that develop this type of product, such as FBM.
What has the FBM factory in Asia been working on in recent months, with regard to level of production, incorporation of new technologies, HHRR and investment, etc?
Due to the growth of our global install base, our factory has been directly affected and has generated a 50 percent increase in production. This phenomenon has also generated a 25 percent increase in the expansion of facilities and a 10 percent increase in the number of employees.
FBM always invests in its I+D department, which guarantees a high-quality product for its customers, with state-of-the-art technology and security. It has an ISO 9001:2008 certification, which was obtained last year.
All of these factors help boost the economic growth of the little city where the firm is based, and contribute to the creation of more jobs and an improvement in the quality of life for local residents.
In which markets is FBM present? Do you expect to meet current and potential regional customers at G2E Las Vegas?
FBM is present in North and South America, Europe and Asia, with its largest operations being in Asia and which is also where it is number one in video bingo. As the event is especially important worldwide, we expect to receive a lot of visitors from all parts of the world at our booth, including both existing and potential customers.
What are your plans for the near future?
FBM is currently waiting on several certifications required to enter several strategic markets, in addition to the homologation of products for these same markets. We are also expected a 20% increase in turnover this year.
