Can you please elaborate on Intralot’s mobile gaming products?
The Mobile Lottery product line is an innovative, independent end-to-end solution for making the Lottery experience native on mobile devices of all operating systems, sizes and capabilities. Adaptive user interface (UI) design with emphasis on ease of use, enhanced social interactiveness on gameplay and modern UI aesthetics, prove the best spring board to attract newer demographics to the traditional Lottery world.  It incorporates several completely new and innovative player engagement features, and gives significant value add to existing and new Lottery operations.

The Sports Mobile betting management system combines the proven INTRALOT i-FLEX sports book platform with a complete content management and delivery platform for mobiles and tablets. Based on HTML5 technologies, new UI designs offer an exciting user experience, allowing the scaling up for multiple device options including terminal devices at the retail networks.

Is content an important aspect of mobile gaming?
Instant mobile Games is a new approach to instant games designed to bring instant win and e-Scratch excitement into a cross-platform and device optimized model for mobiles with HTML5-based technologies, improved centralized management as well as embedding of more exciting content into native applications as needed. This product line combines traditional gaming rules with new innovative concepts from social and casual gaming environments catering to the smart phone and tablet gamer demographics. In this respect VIRTUAL GAMES are a key gaming segment and we are welcoming participants to experience a complete suite of products for this sector.

Content is still the King.

What is your view on the evolution and the future of the gaming industry?
Currently we are experiencing very interesting times in the global gaming industry, which is under a significant consolidation due to the merging of the lottery and of the casino sectors. This consolidation will result in business opportunities of significant size to be exploited by the incumbent vendors in the short term.  Medium to long term, the potential of the gaming industry is connected with the evolution of the interactive gaming, a sector that is growing tremendously fast and will affect the next generation of players, by changing not only the way they live but also the way they communicate and play.

It is therefore of utmost importance that gaming regulators quickly acknowledge the new interactive consumer trends and establish a secure and transparent environment for the on-line gaming. This is a very hot topic for the interactive sector in the U.S., currently in development. Europe has positively addressed these challenges, creating a well-developed on-line gaming market. Hence, the European paradigm could be the way forward for the U.S. on-line gaming sector, where significant market potential exists.
