(Africa).- The Emperors Palace Hotel, Casino and Conference Centre will be hosting the 2014 Big Africa Gaming Summit from October 6-8, 2014. Across the three days, attendees will be able to review take advantage of new opportunities and to review new developments and market strategies. There will also beextensive networking time provided.

This is the chance for anyone involved in the gaming industry across the continent to get together for workshops, visit an exhibition with stands from many of the biggest operators, and generally engage with their peers at this exotic location.

 

Casino operators, sports betting operators, representatives of regulatory bodies and government, game and gaming equipment developers and suppliers, will all be attending.

 

This year the summit covers some of the crucial issues facing gambling in the region, including the moves by the Department of Trade and Industry to regulate remote gaming and the impact that this will have on both land based and online casinos.

 

There will be lots of presentations and speeches from some important representatives including The Hon. Geordin Hill-Lewis, Shadow Minister at the South African DTI, Professor Linda de Vries, Chairperson of the National Gambling Board, and Michael Weare the Managing Director of Betting World.

 

The workshops will cover topics as diverse as big data and marketing analytics in gaming, and step by step legal guides to establishing successful online gaming partnerships, while the exhibitors include Bet Data and ResponsibleGambling.
