(UK).- The UK Gambling Commission has issued a reminder to offshore operators that wish to continue providing gambling services to consumers in Britain, that the deadline to apply for a license is today midnight.

(UK).- The UK Gambling Commission has issued a reminder to offshore operators that wish to continue providing gambling services to consumers in Britain, that the deadline to apply for a license is today midnight.
The application deadline is in advance of the Gambling (licensing and Advertising) Act, which comes into force on October 1.
Offshore operators that are currently regulated overseas but transacting with consumers in the UK and wish to continue doing so after October 1 must submit an application and pay a fee by the deadline tomorrow (Tuesday).
Such applications must be submitted through the Gambling Commission’s official website.
If an application from such and operator has not been completed and submitted by October 1, the applicant may be issued an extension, enabling them to continue to operations until completion of the application process.
