“One hundred jobs is huge for this area,” said Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Bill John Baker in a news release. “By taking these paychecks home to their families, these future employees will affect the lives of countless people in the area. The hope is to fill these good, well-paying jobs with Cherokee citizens and bring much-needed economic development to this part of the Cherokee Nation.”
The new 17,000-square-foot property will offer 300 electronic games. Along with gaming options, guests can enjoy a cocktail, lunch or dinner at the dining venue, officials said.

The company currently operates Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa in Catoosa, seven other Cherokee casinos, not including the South Coffeyville location, a horse racing track, three hotels, three golf courses and other retail operations.
Cherokee Casino South Coffeyville is located off U.S. 169.
