Chinese investor sets sights on Caribbean region

(Antigua and Barbuda).- YiDa, a Chinese investor, will spend over USD 1 B in developing a casino-resort in Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean. Construction is due to begin next year.

(Antigua and Barbuda).- YiDa, a Chinese investor, will spend over USD 1 B in developing a casino-resort in Antigua and Barbuda in the Caribbean. Construction is due to begin next year.

Agence France-Presse reports that Chinese investor is YiDa International Investment Group will cover 647 hectares and have hotels, homes, shops, a school, a hospital, marinas, golf courses, entertainment facilities, a horseracing track and the Caribbean’s biggest casino.
