(US).- Analysts predict that by 2017, mobile gambling will top USD 100 B in revenues for gambling companies offering mobile gambling. Projected numbers of users accessing mobile gambling by 2018 is 164 M.

For the first time ever mobile devices have surpassed desktops in the usage of internet browsing in the US and experts say that the trend globally will only increase as 4G and future connection speeds are more available.

Currently 55% of people in the US use mobile devices to connect with the internet and 47% of those via Apps, with only 8% using a browser device on their handset.

Experts say that the driving force behind the rapid rise of mobile gambling is the convenience and mobility.
