(UK).- Banknote validator manufacturer Innovative Technology incorporated the new 10-euro note (which boasts a range of new security features) into all of their Euro currency dataset files back in May to give Operators sufficient time to update their ITL validators in the field.

The soon to be issued €10 note enters circulation next month on Tuesday 23rd September 2014 and operators must update their cash handling equipment to be able to accept the new issue note.

Customer Support Manager Andy Bassam said, “To ease the update process for customers across Europe we have released a new DA3 SMART Update Tool, allowing customers to update their validators to accept the €10 note that will enter circulation in September. With the use of a DA3 handheld programmer and a standard SD card all ITL validators can be quickly and simply updated to accept the new €10 note.

The DA3 SMART Update Tool €10 can be downloaded for free from firm website within Technical Support / Software Download where a quick start guide explains the whole procedure.”
