(Northern Mariana Islands).- Imperial Pacific International, an investor in Macau gambling junket operator Hengsheng Group, intends to build a USD 3 B casino resort on the Pacific island of Saipan.
Reuters quotes Imperial Pacific International as saying the government of the Northern Mariana Islands, which include Saipan, has given it a 25-year casino licence.
The development would be the first big casino-resort on Saipan, which is five hours away from Shanghai by plane.
