Big Africa Summit 2014 just two months away

(Africa).- The Big Africa Summit will be taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa, from October 6 to October 8, at the Emperors Palace. The summit will address key issues related to the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) action plan for remote gaming regulation in South Africa.

Attendees to the summit are expected to include CEOs, senior directors, leading gaming operators, regulators, bookmakers, gaming software providers and manufacturers, investors, payment providers and many more.

Key Issues

There will be presentations, discussions and insights regarding the future of technology in mobile gaming, the challenges faced by South Africa's sports betting industry, venture capital funding for iGaming start-ups and how land-based casinos can ready themselves for remote gaming.

Summit Highlights and Workshops

Some of the highlights of the second annual Big Africa Summit will be: updates on the development of online gambling regulations; learning about gaming opportunities in the African market; strategies to help enter and operate in the market; presentations on Bitcoin, sports betting, online lottery and iGaming; networking with industry leaders; an exhibition where visitors can meet new and current customers and partners. 

There will also be two important workshops. The first, "Big Data and Marketing Analytics in Gaming: Turning Insight into Action" will be facilitated by Rick Campbell of the iGaming Interactive Marketing and American Casino & Entertainment Properties. The second, "Step-by-Step Legal Guide to Establishing Successful Online Gaming Partnerships" will be facilitated by Garron Whitesman, Founding Partner at Whitesmans Attorneys.
